John Klein serves as Chief Innovation Officer for King County, Wash., the 13th largest county in the nation. He enjoys crafting technology solutions for his customers that allow them to do things and go places they never thought were possible. He’s been with King County for 15 years. Prior to that, he served as IT manager for Safeco Insurance, as a senior consultant with Accenture and as a professional soccer player with the Seattle Sounders. When he’s not working, John enjoys attending World Cup games with his wife and arguing over the merits of different players.
