Regina Salazar

Regina Salazar has more than 20 years of experience in global Information Systems, Manufacturing, Operations and Aftermarket. Regina is currently the CIO of Whirlpool's Global Product Organization, which includes the IS team responsible for developing IOT solutions enabling Whirlpool's connected appliances and all global functions engaged in product development. She is also part of the Detroit CIO Summit Governing Body, a member of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT) and the Executive Sponsor for the Whirlpool Women Network, GIS Pillar.  Prior to Whirlpool, Regina held positions of increasing responsibility at Delphi Automotive, Goodyear and Meritor Automotive. Regina received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from UNICAMP - Universidade Estadual de Campinas in São Paulo, Brazil; a masters in Science Administration from Central Michigan University; and the International Consortia for Executive Development Certificate from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Regina is also a recipient of the Automotive Hall of Fame Young Leadership Award.
