Upinder Phanda

In his current role, Upinder has Global responsibility for IT within Unisys, managing the Business relationship as well as managing our external partners. Upinder has over 30 years of professional experience with Unisys. Prior to his current role, Upinder was Applications VP and has managed many global Implementations that included Worldwide Order to Cash applications as well as Salesforce Automation applications.

Upinder has been instrumental in the use of Global sourcing to provide a cost effective IT organization, while improving the service levels to our business. Upinder successfully led the worldwide implementation of our Shared Service centers to reduce cost of administration across the company.

In 2018, Upinder received the CIO 100 award in recognition of Unisys Secure Digital Transformation; in 2003, he received the Excellence in Management award from CIO magazine. Upinder worked extensively in the supply chain area.  Prior to the shared service center implementations across all regions, Upinder worked in Corporate IT for ten years, with his last position being the lead role for the development and support of International applications.
