Ying Zhe

Ying Zhe is the technology Director of New Account Acquisitions for Discover Card. In this role, she leads the technology organization that’s responsible for products and features development for new customers when they apply for a Discover Card.

Ying has more than 20 years of experience in software technology, specializing in digital transformation and modernization of large and complex systems in Financial Services industry. She is a passionate technologist, especially about using new technology to transform organizational processes and business outcomes. Currently, Ying is leading the transformation of Discover’s New Account Acquisitions platform from a mainframe monolith to a Cloud Native application. Along the journey, she has established new XP practices across business and technology, created new operating model and organization structures to grow and sustain these practices within Discover.
